CV

Marina Pinsky examines the way in which we can read images as material, spatial, and ideological models of the world. Using photography as a basis, she creates artworks in a range of media that expand lens-based ways of seeing into three dimensions, often using sculptural means. Her works frequently transform everyday materials into poetic constellations that blur the line between documentation and fiction. By reinterpreting industrial forms, urban landscapes, and archives, Marina Pinsky reflects on the hidden narratives embedded in social and historical contexts. Her practice invites viewers to question how perception, technology, and ideology influence the way we construct and inhabit our environments.
