This exhibition, Blatrix’s first in the United Kingdom, brings together recent works by the artist, partly inspired by his 2014 stay in Llandudno, where he first discovered MOSTYN. The trip brought back childhood memories of leaving the capital for smaller towns to reunite with family and friends. For this project, Blatrix invited his parents to join him — his mother a ceramicist, his father an artist in his own right — and their pieces echo the feelings he experienced when discovering MOSTYN. Through this intimate dialogue between their works, the exhibition unfolds like a walk through the intertwined landscapes of memory, influence, upbringing, and artistic life.
